This series contains audio-visual materials related to the National Conference of Afro American Lutherans (NCAAL). There are two photographs, one color and one black-and-white, taken of James McDaniels, Administrative Assistant, NCAAL. There are two audiotapes, one of which is the NCAAL Board of Directors meeting for February 1976. The other tape is of Dr. Hazaiah Williams, an African American speaker. It appears this tape was given to NCAAL by Partners in Mission Coordinator the Rev. James W. Mayer. There is no accompanying explanation of what is on the tape. Twenty-nine black-and-white slides are identical images of the NCAAL. There are nine color slides of the Bless Choir, taken in 1974. It is not known where the photographs of the performance were taken. In the same boxes as the Bless Choir slides are thirty black-and-white slides of various images of schools, churches and congregations, missionaries and missions, and individuals. The majority of these images appear to have been taken from Lutheran publications. Much of the text in these images is in German. There is no information as to when or where these images were taken or the context in which they were used. Eleven color slides of NCAAL's first National Assembly in August 1975 are also found in this series.
